Absolutely excellent YA. Smart, full of heart, creative and new. As usual when an adult male writes a teenage female lead there are some questionable choices (like, a girl in 2021 who spends most her day swimming isn't using maxi pads, I'm sorry) but it was a wonderful tribute to and update of Jules Verne. My 9 year old loved it and so did I.
