“i’m so used to being slowly drained that the feeling of someone breathing life into me is a foreign concept.”
“you are deserving of love that embellishes your brilliance.”
one thing about natasha? she’s going to make me question if i exist in the right world. her fictional worlds are so captivating and make believe. her characters have a sense of realness to them that makes them relatable and they make me feel understood in a sense.
janelle was literally me. putting other people’s feelings over mine so that i can fulfill their wants and their needs…all while forgetting and neglecting my own. that aspect of selflessness was written well and dealt with even better. i was waiting the entirety of the book for j to dead that act and finally be selfish!
rome is the picture perfect man. rome is home!
