My absolute favorite parts were the baking descriptions about flavor, texture, and the magic of it all coming together. I even loved the included recipes in the back of the book (though I can't bake so cannot confirm whether they will taste as good as they sound).

The only thing holding it back from 5 full stars and a recommendation to everyone is the love conflict that didn't even need to be a conflict. I think it just harped on it a bit too much.

Either way, super cute read that's going on my cozy shelf for future re-reads!
