This was a very quick read (I finished it a couple of hours), and beautifully done. I'd mistakenly thought it as a YA book, but it's definitely a middle grade novel.

Also, because of my former reader of Woodson, I assumed this one would be in verse but it wasn't, which I have to admit I prefer.
