The themes in this book are really important and I recognize that and I'm glad that this is a book club book so that I can hear what others thought. However, I don't think this book was for me. I didn't love how messy the characters were, I didn't love how it felt like nothing was happening, and it was hard for me to want to pickup.

I didn't dislike it, but I didn't overly like it. I think this is one that has the potential for my mind to change once I've discussed it and dug in deeper.
