Did not finish book.
Got about a third into the audiobook before I quit. The male character has anxiety, which made his internal monologues hard for me to accept. I guess a character constantly second guessing himself just doesn’t do it for me. Another aspect was the Spider-Man trope: he knows he’s attracted to a girl in both his secret and public identity, but the girl believes she’s dealing with two separate entities. It’s very deceptive, especially as he’s deceiving her for nefarious reasons and doesn’t ever seem to fully consider the impact and consequences of those actions
