The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan
4.0
First off, I just want to say that I'm not trying to step on any toes by my following statement. I've never been a huge fan of this series. But just before people start throwing rocks at me(including my own brother if he ever reads this), hear me out.
I don't hate the books, and I don't hate the author or the characters or the writing. However, I've never loved them either.
This series has just been a very popular book series that I midly emjoyed. Until this book.
It is not like I've drastically changed my mind about everything that I don't like about it, like the lack of human emotion, the side characters wasted potential and in some extent the writing style (to name a few). But with this installement I started to see glimpses of what fans that love this series see. So I will state the obvious; I liked this book more than I've like any of the other books that I've read by Rick Riordan, I was grabbed very early on by the plot and I loved Percy's voice and unlike any of the other times I've read his books (not that I've read many of them) I'm looking forward to reading the last installmnent of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series.
One more thing, I just love Annabeth Chase so very much.
