Lane and Matt are in my top 10 book couples. So much love and care. So much growth, love and representation for anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I loved it! However, the inevitability of it made it hard for the slow burn to really shine. This made the book feel longer, which it didn't really need to be. Though I adored everything else about this book, I still preferred Next of Kin. I do see myself coming back to this book in the future and would 100% recommend to other romance readers. 4.5 ☆.
