A Light in the Mist by Erin Hunter
Closer to the end of the book the cats went to visit Starclan before returning to the living world. Here many interesting topics were brought up one of which were dark forest cats going to Starclan if they redeemed themself. The suggestion were rejected and I am so mad about that. It would make so much more sense to have allies than enemies. I don't understand why they are being so stubborn and they could not bring up a single good point to why they rejected the idea. Every point they said got shut down by an argument. It dosen't make sense.
Starclan already have a bad reputation among the readers and this does not help.
Another topic I found interesting was cats from different clans being able to be mates and possibly change clans. Incest is a big problem in warriors and it also does not make sense. Some ppl may thing this will take away forbidden romance but I disagree. Crowfeather made it clear changing clans would not be easy, no impulse decisions and in the early days this would cause problems cuz of how new it would be. No one would really know for sure what to do. This was the only interesting thing that came out from Rootspring and Brislefrosts relationship, it was a on going theme throughout the book about love.
Speaking of love, I noticed Silverstream and Feathertail have the same problem. Both had loves who they had to leave due to death. Both Crowfeather and Greystripe seem to love their newer mates a lot and it would be a hard decision for the toms to choose one of their past loves. Like mothe like daughter.
