First impressions of Logan aren’t great. He comes across as a smarmy womaniser, the only things he has going for him for now are that he is rich and gives Henry Cavill a run for his money in the looks department. 

It’s not all bad though and I quickly warm to him. It’s sweet how confused he is by how much he likes Melody.

Melody is no-nonsense and is determined not to fall for Logan’s charm but that doesn’t stop the dreams or the reactions her body has when he’s near. The sexual tension is so thick you could cut it with a knife 🥵

They get down to it after spending a really lovely day together. It’s both hot and sweet, and I absolutely take back my earlier judgement of Logan, I think I’m a little bit in love with him 😍

In a fit of sour grapes, a former lover of Logan’s goes to the press and releases a tell-all article resulting in his parents insisting he marries a woman he’s never met. Melody walks in and hears this, and she bolts.

I’m not sure how I feel about the fact that he’s actually entertaining it, rather than fighting for the woman he supposedly loves. I don’t think I would be able to forgive that and it definitely makes me think less of Logan.

Thank god Logan comes to his senses before an announcement is made and he makes a grovelling apology, on his knees and everything.

A cute and spicy epilogue ties the book off nicely. I’ve really enjoyed this one, it’s been a perfect sweet but spicy read and I’ll 100% read more from Autumn Price
