The Good Daughter by Karin Slaughter

5.0

Trigger Warning: There is a lot of violence in this book and a rape scene that is described into detail. Please make sure you are able to handle those before reading.

Thanks to Arjen for doing another buddyread with me. It was so much fun to share my love for Karin Slaughter novels with somebody else. I met Karin Slaughter a while ago and she told, during the interview, that The Good Daughter is something different. It's dark, and it's not from a police POV, which she tends to do in a while. But the Queen of Crime can write it all!

This book is exactly what I'd hoped for by Karin Slaughter and even more. Not a book from a Police POV, but something else. The story itself is so good, there is a lot of tension and mystery. The characters are amazing and I'm sure any Mystery/Thriller lover would rush through. #1 Karin Slaughter Fangirl, OUT.
