I loved Hutch and Auden so much!!

Hutch was honestly such a softie at heart. Even though he thought hockey could be his only love, from the beginning he was so sweet without even realizing it. Auden was also a great character, she thought love didn't exist after seeing what her parents went through but she was so deserving. Hutch is a hockey player who hasn't had a great season but is still hoping to be captain, and Auden is a self-made billionaire/hotel owner.

Hutch and Auden meet at an airport bar, then when the plane boards they realize they are seatmates and neither of them is a huge fan of flying. After needing to make an unexpected landing because of the weather, they agree to have a one-night stand fully expecting to never see each other again. But of course, that is not the case and their paths become more entangled than they could've imagined.

Hutch and his teammates were hilarious and I loved their friendship so much. All the different personalities made for such a fun time, on and off the ice. Auden has her best friend and twin sister who were also such fun characters! Seeing them all interact together truly had me laughing. There were definitely more serious moments as well when the character realized it may be more than a fling, and I loved how those conversations were well done and balanced.

I loved the connection and understanding between Hutch and Auden. They were so compatible and I really enjoyed seeing their connection grow. Although there was some miscommunication (or lack thereof), the characters understood each other and were able to move forward in the end, which was very well done!

I think the other thing I would have wanted more of was Hutch's past. In the beginning, he briefly brushes over why he doesn't believe in love/forever and I wish we seen him dig a bit deeper into that. We got a lot of Auden's story and why her stance was anti-love and I loved seeing that side of her, I just wish we got it out of Hutch as well.

Overall, really loved this book and I cannot wait for the next players and their stories!
