The Slaughter Man by Cassandra Parkin

2.0

This was okay. It certainly wasn't the horror or thriller novel that the blurb promised. It was a sort of psychological portrait of grief. Which was fine, I guess. The title does 't fit at all. It had some nice elements, but the ending was dreadful. No payoff and no real ending either. And the dream sequences were tedious. Every bit as boring as someone telling you their dream at length in real life.
