I don't know the first time I realized I loved Dolly Parton and everything she was about but she truly is one of my idols and one of my absolutely favorite people on the planet. I had the Audible credit and used it on this and I'm so so so glad I did because to hear Dolly talk about some of her songs and her life as if I was just sitting in conversation with her was such an enriching experience. I loved how much she had to say about how she sees herself as a songwriter first, as well as her faith, and what inspired her to take on literacy as a cause. I cannot say enough good things about this book. I don't own a physical copy but you can bet that I'll be purchasing one soon.
