Slow and tedious

This series is not for me. I completely understand why others like it though.

I'm clearly not the target audience for this one. It's very high school. That probably seems like an odd thing to say because - duh - they're in high school. What I mean is that this reads like a teen drama high school TV show and I think I'm just maybe too old to enjoy that kind of thing anymore. That being said - I have read plenty of other series that were set in high school that I absolutely loved.

To say this series moves slow is one heck of an understatement. It started to become dull and I found my mind wandering while I was reading.

I didn't feel like there was really a plot? It's about a high school girl and her 4 guy best friends. Turns out the guys all like the girl and they start dating her. There is a bunch of OW drama, mean girl drama, bad parent drama, cyber bullying, etc. Check the warnings at the front of the book if you're concerned about that kind of thing.

Overall, just not my thing. 2 star rating is for my opinion and has no reflection on the author's storytelling abilities. 2 stars on Goodreads only = "it was ok".
