two times of finishing my book club books early and you KNOW i just broke that trend today ;)

i liked it but it had a LOT more clowns that i would have anticipated. a lot more uhhhhh circus than i anticipated. but even so.

i liked how even though she was the villain that the author gave us some time with avalon to understand her, which is like... such a low bar tbh but yknow. i'll take what i can get. i read a lot of bad books.

i also liked that they didn't go too far into the worldbuilding like no 10 page infodumps just north being like EWW THE LAND SMELLS BAD GROSSS TREES EWWWW which was funny

absolutely should not have read this on the back of [REDACTED] because it threw some things into a different light.
