The Sun and the Star by Rick Riordan, Mark Oshiro

Sometimes it’s better to learn to live with the darkness.

I have to admit it took me a while to get into this book, but it was a great adventure to take part in (though rather safely in my room, and not traveling through Tartarus). It was quite different than other books from riordanverse, there was more... I don't know, focusing on the inside of a person? (and I don't mean internal organs, although there was also some talk about the insides of Tartarus). But also it had the same typical Riordan humor that still makes me laugh out loud, and there was a lot of action, so it wasn't just all talking-about-emotions-and-stuff (which was also great and actually made me think deeply about Things).

Some other thoughts:
– Nico and Will are sometimes so cringe but good for them, they have all rights to be cringe and free (and also they're both like 15 so)
– Small Bob best character
– right next to the aeternae (best bros forever)
– Dionizos with a bowl of popcorn was so real
– I still can't get over care-bear-Will
– take a shot every time somebody cries and you will probably die (but it's understandable looking at the literal hell the characters are going through)
– I think out of the two new books "Chalice of the gods" was more my jam as a book (I loved its silliness) but this one was great too, and both  managed to do something to me.

I think that's all.

PS I now need to find if somebody made fanarts of Nico and his demons I mean Cocoa Puffs, and if not I will have to draw it myself cause that's certainly A View
