The Sisters We Were is a great book and I was so excited to see where Pearl and Ruby went on in their lives. As sisters who are reluctant to be in each other’s lives again, it was interesting to see how they came together again.

I really liked reading this story because of the author’s ability to create real, tangible emotions. Definitely an emotional connection between the siblings that readers get to see.
