"I'm glad I was born," she finally said. "And I'm glad you're my sisters."
nice and creepy, just what I wanted.
it kind of lost me at the end, because up until 50% this was definitely a 4 stars book, but then it when downhill. it had nice twists and I even got scared (the lighthouse scene.. that fucking creeped me out so bad) but everything solved quickly and, ironically, in a magical way ??? like magic is part of their world but still felt as if magic itself didn't had rules or such it was just the easiest solution, the one you didn't had to justify anything just "magic".
and there's also some plots that doesn't make sense ?? they don't explain some things and it still annoys me, like there a plot hole about some deaths, the very first in the story, that contradicts something the mli says later on. that's probably what annoyed me the most.
the love story wasn't much either, it was niche whatever I'm glad they're happy but I personally didn't care that much about it.
nice book, nice story, disappointed me a little bit at the end but the whole middle part was awesome.
