After loosing big on the slots, Ethan is pulled aside by a man named Rick who is offering him the unthinkable - a chance to win back all his money, no questions asked. All he has to do is spin a wheel and land on any of the other 99 numbers, except for 0. If he loses, Rick will break his arm. Desperate, Ethan agrees to the odds only to regret his decision soon after as the game continues.

This is a fast-paced, fairly short thriller that I thought was really fun. Right from the first chapter, you're pulled into the game and need to know what is going to happen next. I thought the concept was intriguing and I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what Ethan would have to do next. The only complaint I have with this book would be that the reader is left completely in the dark regarding who is running the game. We get zero information on the who or the why of it all, which was a tad frustrating. I definitely liked the second half of the book more, when we got to see a tiny bit more into the behind the scenes of the game, but again... not enough.

I really liked the ending, I was not expecting it and thought it was a fun little twist. I would definitely be interested in checking out more from this author in the future!
