I loved this book so much from beginning to end! It was the perfect book to read in the summer. The setting was perfect -  the same beach house they always rent. And the author did such an amazing job of capturing that time in adulthood when we have adult children who are independent and parents who are aging and becoming more dependent on us. This book tore at my heartstrings and I felt so connected with Rocky, especially her relationship with her daughter. I loved that the book had flashbacks but in the present time it took place over a week at the beach. I know this book will be one of my favorite books of the year if not my #1 of the year. I’m SO glad I picked this one up! Absolute perfection!
