JL Seegars is a beautiful writer. With every book in the New Haven series, her writing storytelling gets better and better. Reclaim Me hit close to home with the subject matter, but it was written with such tact and real consideration that I wasn't truly triggered like I feared I would be.
Hunter and Rae's love story was inevitable. They knew each other's souls, and no matter how many years they had apart their hearts were always aligned. Hunter grew into a great man, and was such a great father. Rae was really playing herself being with Aaron for as long as she was, especially when they moved to New Haven. As soon as she saw Hunter I know she knew they would end up back in each other's arms.ESPECIALLY when his first thought when learning about their child was "When can I meet her", making her his first priority. He had love for this baby that he had only learned of a couple of minutes ago, more love than Aaron had ever shown almost her entire life Seegars knows how to write a man. Every single mmc in the New Haven series is the epitome of a book boyfriend - everything you could ever want, a man that treats you like a queen, puts it down like it's his purpose in life and loves his woman with everything he has.
Reclaim Me is a story of heartache, true love and self-determination. It was about finding yourself again, for you and not for anyone else.
