Dzienniki 1950-1962 by Karen V. Kukil, Sylvia Plath

3.0

I have lovehate relationship with this book. Also, it’s kind of weird and difficult to rate someone’s diaries. Over these 776 pages I could see Sylvia growing up, changing, but also fighting with her depression. I felt connected to her sometimes and I have learned a lot about women's lives in the 60s. So it is definitely an interesting book, but because of a lot of descriptions of places and things that Plath was writing as an exercise, it was sometimes boring. I also feel like a lot of important moments in her biography are not described here.
