“I love you just for being, whoever that is.”

This quote from Malibu Rising, and the rest of the book, represents perfectly what having siblings is like. It’s loving someone despite what they do or who they are, loving them just because they exist. It’s loving someone more than you could ever love anything, knowing that for them you would do absolutely anything even if it ends up burning you. It’s hurting so much and being able to be so angry with someone and then looking at them and smiling. It’s knowing you have someone always looking out for you and looking out for them always yourself.

This was an incredible book, impossible to put down to the point I found myself at 3 am still reading from how hooked I was, and i have a very low attention span. I’m still debating whether I actually like this more than TSHOEH. Taylor Jenkins Reid has done it again, she has created and other masterpiece.
