Lady in Waiting: My Extraordinary Life in the Shadow of the Crown by Anne Glenconner
5.0
Listening to the audiobook was the best choice I made.
The narrator was amazing, and it felt like I was sitting in a nice warm room having a cup of tea while my grandma told me stories of her life.
Well, what I imagined it would be like anyway.
I loved Lady Glenconner’s way of handling things. The calm woman she was. Although, her husband and his antics would have thrown me over the edge, she stayed with him until his dying days. and was still cut off.
Her friendship with Princess Margaret was wonderful. A true friend they found in one another.
