If I'm Being Honest by Austin Siegemund-Broka, Emily Wibberley

Looking past the fact that this was THE MOST YA OF THE YA BOOKS LOL, this was a ton of fun! I loved the growth in Cameron, her relationships with Paige and Brendan (and Andrew tbf), and just the overall dynamic between the characters.

There’s something special about YA books that make you feel really hopeful, and this did just that for me. Someeee parts dragged and hearing how whiny the characters are (given their age it makes sense but you get it) was a BIT too much - BUT the humor and characters still save it.

I also love the growth in Cameron’s relationship with her parents, specifically with her mom. Do I think her mom is the perfect person? ABSOLUTELY NOT- NOT EVEN IN THE SLIGHTEST (she may be my least favorite character). But I loved the honesty and shift.
