Our crew makes it to the port town to rest and recover, but can't find a ship to take them to the elf lands.  Schierke meets Sonia, the medium for The Band of the Hawk, they become quick friends.  They, along with Isidro, flight off some slaver pirates and rescue Kushan children.  Farnese ends up back at her family's estate and we see into the aristocratic lifestyle.  There's a very good cliffhanger to end this volume though.
