Most reviews here have accurately depicted the emotions of this novel already.

I highly recommend everyone adds this classic novel to their TBR if you haven't already. This was so beautifully written and the characters and the twists all worked so well together. I do think that the themes and what the characters represent are not meant to be easily digested. There is so much under the surface level. Definitely a story that is debatable based upon reader interpretations.

The novels narrator (Mrs de Winter 2.0) is perfect to guide us through each step of the way in this story, with its many depictions of love, womanhood, devotion, and strength.

And Manderley - there is not an easy way to describe how the house/estate is a character itself. Manderley morphs into many different versions to symbolize the change/growth from not only the narrator, but the other characters as well.

Regret not reading this sooner!
