I bow down to the alter of T. Kingfisher. I have been so lucky to be a part of their ARC review team for many of their upcoming novels. I just didn't really enjoy this one.

Thumbs up: Dark garden horror is on my 20's novel theme bingo card. This certainly delivered on the mushroom-horror.

Thumbs down: I didn't find this as fun or engaging as so many of their other novels! I had a really hard time sticking to reading this but honestly I am such a fan of Kingfisher, I will love again.

Was it a nail biter? I think the old timey gothic horror isn't my jam and that's okay! I hope this one is for you.
