The Summer Of Lost Letters 🌅💌

I’m so happy to finally have read this book after being on my shelf for soo long.

This book is perfect if you’re in the mood for a summer read (I mean,  just read the title and look at that gorgeous cover!). The description of Nantucket was so gorgeous and I found myself imagining being there. 🐚

I haven’t read much young adult romance this year, so this felt like a refreshing story to read. I loved how the author beautifully portrayed that feeling of falling in love when you’re young. I really enjoyed the banter between Noah and Abigail. Their interactions were really good and I loved seeing their relationship evolve and go from enemies, to friends, to lovers. I got butterflies at times at some of their scenes. 🥹💕

This book also focuses on Jewish history, which I appreciated learning more about, even though to be honest, I felt kind of bored reading those parts at times. I thought the plot worked perfectly to shine a light on this topic though. I really enjoyed how much Abigail cared about her past and wanting to learn more about her grandma. 🤍
It was inspiring seeing how Abigail’s decision of going to Nantucket changed her whole life and her family’s.

I actually didn’t see the ending coming and it was so good! I was tearing up at the end. 😭🫶🏽

I would love to know more about Noah and Abi’s relationship, so I might check out the other books set in this world. 🌎

You’ll love this book if you enjoy:
💌 historical fiction
💕 young adult romance
🌅 summer reads
📖 coming of age stories
ps. Noah Barbanel kinda gave me James Beaufort from Maxton Hall vibes.
