“you think i don’t know that you hate the idea of being an old lady? you think i don’t know that you look down on us? who we are? who i am? i fucking know you do. but I’m still here, about to fuck you. i’m still here trying to tell you i’ll die for you. i’m still here, going against my president’s orders, willing to risk all that shit at a shot for us.”
finding a good motorcycle club romance is hard, but when you do it's like you finally belong. it's home, there's no found family like a bunch of outlaw brothers. and the iron outlaws made me feel welcome. i was so giddy throughout this book. second chance romances are my guilty pleasure. and the uniqueness of this story was refreshing and oh so compelling. starting a book with a funeral makes a statement, but having it be a biker send off sets the tone. and the fact that this started with the death of the old prez and ended with that of his vp really cemented the beginning of a new era. i love that shift clubs go through when the brothers start falling in love.
