Unnecessary detail. There should be a point to describing a man as big & muscled without attributing it to his playing sports - give me his physical details in pieces as the story goes on, rather than handing me all of them upfront in the Exposition Package.
Additionally, the author chooses to start the story before the inciting incident (our protagonist quitting), so the first two chapters (first ~hour of the audiobook) don't contain much, if any, plot development.
