Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun 1 by Osamu Nishi
5.0
I was excited to start reading this after watching some of the anime, and while this was really good, I will confess that I'm more invested in the anime than the manga. Maybe its because of the extra details they add in the anime, or just how colorful and bombastic the anime is, but regardless this was still a great first volume. I love the character designs, seeing how Iruma gets out of each wacky situation is enjoyable, and the comedic moments are good. The art is really strong as well, though I already know that Nishi goes for a much simpler style the further they get into the series.
Despite liking the anime more, this was still a great first volume. I probably won't continue with the manga unless the anime doesn't have the opportunity see the story to its conclusion, but I still highly recommend this manga. It's just a ton of fun, what more can I say?
