Legacy by Cayla Kluver
5.0
Oh my God. Let me just start with: Cliffhanger ending!!!
*Breathes deeply*
This book truly earned it's five star rating and it's been a while since I've given a novel a five star rating. Like probably six months. It was set in medieval and had a secret romance with the guy being mysterious and of course the romance developed slowly. I loved Alera's relationship with her sister and her body guards.
I didn't understand why she didn't tell Tadark to f off.
But dude. If you like romance, this book is SO worth it!!
I think I'm going to have to end my book buying ban just this once (ha ha) because I can't WAIT to know what happens yet. And once AGAIN, I like the guy she doesn't. I feel so sorry for Steldor because Alera doesn't even try. She likes kissing him and he's being insanely patient for a man in her day and age. She just needs to tell him to work on the parts she doesn't like and seriously ask about his relationship history and she'll be set.
I liked Narian to begin with but he feels too much of a wild card and Steldor really does love her.
Anyways, I'm going to sleep on it and maybe buy the next book. We'll see.
