I don't even have quotes I liked for this book, which is wild. I really did not enjoy this novel, and it's so disappointing because I had high hopes. I just have so much to say but I don't want to spend that much energy on it because I don't believe in book bashing because that's cruel, unless there's a lot of issues.

Let's get into it.

* I really, really, really could not stand the way everyone was not introduced. I guess given the blurb and whom the book is about, the reader is supposed to be knowledgeable but honestly, it irritated me. You still need to introduce characters and introduce them well.

* What the fck was the ending???
SpoilerEzra cheating on Dorothy with Iseult??? And Georgie not saying anything??? God, I was so angry.
Rage was the central emotion I felt while reading. The worst ending, oh my—

* The writing was lackluster for me, and I just felt lost and a bit confused at some of the actions taking place and the characters and just—ugh.

I'm so upset because historical romance/fiction is one of my favorite genres, and this was one of the least enjoyable experiences. Hope other people have better luck.
