Truth & Justice: Save Yourself by Danny Lore

1.0

"I've forgotten how many times we've done this battle of wills, this dance. Different steps. Sometimes partners. Sometimes competitors. I almost allow myself to admit which I prefer but that would be a distraction, yeah? And I need my focus."

Does not have a solid introduction and the plot feels jumbled at times, lots of banter, not a lot of cohesive plot. It is super trite and the progression, characters, plot all seemed present only for fun flirty dialogue, which is fine if the story or characters were existent.

We have Constantine come across a kid on a bus, follows them back to his rival, exchange banter and flashbacks and than take Alex's magic and abandons them saying he needs food and in five years they'll come for revenge . . . .?

The art was good and I liked that Danny Lore spoke to their experience of being nonbinary and using they/them but Alex never got a moment to shine.
