I finally finished it.
And i don’t mean than in a “oh god i finally finished it” type of way, I mean it took me forever to get through, and I am thankful for that.
Each time i would sit down to read american gods I would feel as if a small part of me was being pieced together. This book was entirely perfect, which I know is a bold statement, but it’s hard not to fall in love with Neil’s voice. There was something so completely satisfying throughout this entire book that I just can’t quite place.
