Nesta managed to go from my absolute most hated character to my favourite in this book.
Her emotional journey is simply phenomenal, and yes you are supposed to hate her at the beginning, because she hates herself. Until she starts to learn to love herself, and accept who she is/what’s she’s done, you don’t start to like her as a person. For me, this is the best kind of character arc and redemption. She earns our love as a main character, as difficult as she is in that first half of the book.
