Decision Making and the Will of God: A Biblical Alternative to the Traditional View by Garry Friesen, J. Robin Maxson

informative slow-paced

4.0

I appreciate this book. This book covers many things my husband and I have discussed relating to Christianity and it was interesting to hear the author's perspective. I appreciate his views on the traditional approach to decision making and his support of the wisdom view. I've had times in my life where the traditional view, like several examples in the book, has caused me great anxiety about missing "God's Perfect Will." This book does a great job explaining the idea that there is no "perfect" as long as you are within God's moral will.

The book is dense and is slow. It was based off of the author's seminary thesis so, it's not one you just sit down and breeze through. It is worth the time to read though, especially for those who are concerned about making "the perfect, right decision." I'm considering purchasing a copy for my home library.
