There is a serial killer active and he is called BMK by the press. When the body of a teenage girl is found in the grounds of a private boys school the police race to determine if this is another BMK victim as there are similarities. But there are also points of divergence.

Adam Bowman is a journalist who lived at and attended the school many years ago and his boss calls on him to dig into the story and find leads for the paper.

This is where things get complicated as a strange relationship is struck up between Bowman and the police. They give him information to only be released when they say so and also go so far to organize interviews for him with witnesses, suspects and victims. A strange relationship, especially when they begin to suspect him.

The whole thing doesn't feel natural and real. The story loses some of it's coherence and is not a tight story.

Interesting but not great.
