And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

Compared to the rest of the series, this wasn’t very good. I wouldn’t mind the fact that I read it in two sittings if anything had actually happened in the book but there’s no sustained plot here. It may as well have been called ‘A Fae Christmas’, since the book consists of:
- every character discussing what presents they’re going to buy
- every character out shopping for said presents
- people arriving and dropping off gifts
- the day finally arrives and... they give and receive gifts
- people react to gift giving
- people rejecting gifts
- snow, snow, snow
- gifts, gifts, gifts

It was just bizarre! I didn’t mind the new character perspectives but this felt like a device used to distract us from the fact that Feyre’s events are like watching paint dry.

Quite disappointed but I will stick with the series since I’ve been so happy with the first three.
