Lincoln and Brinkley were so much fun!
The GOAT NFL player in hiding meets the honest journalist eager to make a name for herself.
I loved reading their story so much. Their banter, connection, passion, etc was so good. The sassiness of Brinkley was honestly hilarious and I loved how her siblings were on her case about it before she even admitted how she truly felt about Lincoln. It was so entertaining seeing how the men in the book loved Lincoln and how much of a fan they were of him.
The connection between Lincoln and Brinkley was so well done. I was rooting for them the entire time, even when they thought they hated each other. I loved seeing them soften for each other and see how much they understand each other.
Laura Pavlov is so good at making you care for her characters and the small towns that she creates and I truly cannot wait for the next books! I also really enjoyed seeing glimpses of the characters from previous books live out their happily-ever-afters.
