ARC Review

Release me is another fantastic “perfect love story about imperfect people” from JL Seegars. She never misses! Nadia is a young woman trying to restart her life after being a victim of sex trafficking. She is trying to create new life for herself, starting with a job at Cerros Hotel owned by Sebastian Adler. Their meet cute isn’t so cute, where Sebastian offends her with a rude comment about her work experience. After that bad interaction, their paths cross again beginning a beautiful romance. This is a story about rebirth, learning to trust again, and believing in and learning to love yourself.

Nadia’s self-worth was non-existent after escaping Beau. At a point she even realizes that the mean voice in her head is no longer his voice but hers. With Sebastian’s love helping her, Nadia begins to trust herself and her capabilities and trust the love Seb gives her.

There’s always one constant in Seegars’ books: the man  is obsessed and adores his woman. Her happiness/protection is his sole priority. And let me just say I live for that shit! She writes in a way where you can feel the love coming off the page. When Sebastian talks about Nadia, it’s like I can feel the ache in his heart in mine too.

I didn’t want this story to end! I need more Nadia and Sebastian. And it was exciting getting cameos from Nic and Sloan and Mal and Chris. If I had any critic it would be that the ending was a little rushed. It all wrapped up in the last chapter. An epilogue would've been perfect!
