I won't lie, I actually enjoyed this book quite a lot. It did feel slow for the first half, but afterwards it did pick up the pace a bit. I loved the variety in character types and origins because they really felt alive. This is tough to rate because I enjoyed it, however it wasn't spectacular.. I might add a .5, but I'm not so sure. One thing I'm sure of is that I will be continuing this series once I get my hands on it.
