“You’re always going to be mine, Avery. I’m always going to be yours. I don’t need a piece of paper or a ring to tell me that.” He taps two fingers over his heart. “It’s in here.”

This book was very different than all the marriage in crisis books I've read before. If it wasn't split in two parts, I could have not really understood how things went wrong between Avery & Gabriel. This story was more about overcoming grief and being able to move on and heal yourself, rather than a
romance. I liked Avery & Gabriel together and after all that happened, I still felt like they needed each other to truly be happy and I really liked the ending. But the insta love between them was kind of unappealing tbh. Still, I liked reading the book. Some parts were really deep and emotional and I couldn't put it down until I finished it.
