I really wanted to like this book! The mythology is amazing. The writing.... well, not so much. Characterization and setting boils down to dropping designer names (a la Sex in the City?) and drama/dialogue/plot is a la Gossip Girl... urrrgh. If you really wanted teen escapist romance/thriller, read [book:The Luxe].
