Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin
5.0
This is one of my favorite books of all time! I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
I first read this book in 2013 or so and it stuck with me. After losing my mom in 2019 to ALS I thought it would be interesting to re-read the book and see if I still loved it as much as I originally did.
I’m so happy to say that I love it even more! Zevin crafted such a beautiful story about 15-year-old Lizzie and what happens after she is hit by a taxi cab.
You instantly fall in love with the characters, human and animal.
This book doesn’t get nearly enough praise! If you’re looking for something that will make you smile, laugh, cry and leave you thinking what could be waiting for us after death you need to pick up Elsewhere.
