4.5 stars. The story's hit a lull, but it's still going strong. Not quite five stars, partly because the despair and hopelessness are paramount in this book, moreso than at the beginning because their whole life wasn't being ruined by their enemies and because they didn't know how big the evil was, and what an enormous army the Lord of Locusts had (allied with Pawa).

But it's captivating and engaging so I gave it five stars. It moves the plot forward and it's interesting, so what more could you want in a comic book.
