The storyline was fine. I listened to the audiobook so it went by quickly.
Plot: An FBI agent is wrongly accused of a premeditated murder of a previous criminal she arrested in the past. It seemed like she was set up due to her looking into another case she was attempting against a high profile man who had many state, federal and government influences. The story takes you to her steps and finding the truth to prove her innocence.
An issue that has nothing to do with the story is the audiobook listened through CHIRP wasn’t edited properly so the restart of the narrator wasn’t removed. It happened several times throughout the book.
