The Italy parts were fairly interesting, but overall this was just meh. I felt like it was trying to be too many things, and I would have preferred the Italy stuff to be toned down (as much as I do love Italy) in favor of a better supported political conspiracy drama. Characters were introduced and then never resolved. What happened with Lugi or Francesca or Rudolph? There just wasn't any consistency.
